Track every contractor license’s expiration date — and when to start renewing.

General contractor, specialty trade, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and roofing licenses, and business registrations: each with the details you need at renewal, and reminders that count down to the day the work has to start.

WHAT YOU RECORD

The details that matter at renewal, on every license.

Beyond the name, number and expiration date, each license can carry what you’ll need when it’s time to renew.

  • State or jurisdiction, and classification or class
  • Renewal portal link — the reminder email links straight to it
  • Renewal fee, for budgeting the quarter
  • Continuing-education hours required and completed
  • Renewal notes: login hints, who to call, documents they always ask for
  • Who holds it and who on your team chases it
HOW IT WORKS

Add it once; every renewal after that schedules itself.

  1. Add the license

Type it in, import your spreadsheet, or upload a photo of the card or a PDF and check the details read off it.

  2. Set its lead time and term

How many days before expiry you need to start, and how often it renews — every year up to every five years, or no fixed term.

  3. Get reminded before you need to start

Reminders go to the holder and whoever chases it, with a button to the renewal portal if you saved its link.

  4. Mark it renewed

Upload the new card; the license moves to its next term and the reminders start again for the new date.

WHAT EVERY ITEM GETS

QUESTIONS

Contractor licenses: common questions

What it does, what it doesn’t, and where your review still matters.

More answers in the FAQ
Does it check my license is active with the state?

No. Tracking a date is not official verification, and we don’t connect to licensing boards, cities or insurers. Check what each renewal asks for with whoever issues it.

Can I track licenses in more than one state?

Yes. Each license is its own item with its own state or jurisdiction, number, dates and reminders.

Does it track continuing education?

You can record the CE hours a license requires and how many are completed, on the license itself. It doesn’t track individual courses.

Can it read the date off my license card?

Yes. Upload a photo or PDF and the expiration date, license number, issuer and holder are filled in for you to check before saving.
